A Human-Centered AI Academy Grounded in Powerful Community

Speak at Social Saturday

Every Saturday morning, women working with AI come together on Zoom to teach each other what they know. We’d love to have you in the speaker slot. Here’s everything you need to decide.

Here’s what to know before you say yes — what She Leads AI is, who joins us on a Saturday, the ways you can speak, and what we ask of you.

01

What She Leads AI Is

An AI Academy grounded in a powerful community.

She Leads AI is a home for women practitioners, educators, founders, and consultants who are already working with AI in their organizations, their classrooms, their consultancies, and their lives.

How we got here

She Leads AI began in January 2023 as a hashtag on social media and grew into an event series, a community, an AI academy, and an in-person conference. Since launching the She Leads AI Society in January 2024, we have platformed over 200 women in speaking roles, hosted hundreds of hours of free events, and graduated dozens of AI practitioners into new careers in AI.

Social Saturday is a big part of that — the free weekly gathering where much of this begins, and the one you’re being invited to speak at.

Our work runs across a few connected pieces — and underneath all of it, the She Leads AI Society, whose members underwrite Social Saturday so it stays free for all women.

02

What Social Saturday Is

Our free weekly gathering for women in AI. Come as you are, learn from subject matter experts, build relationships, and share your knowledge.

It’s how women in AI share what they know with each other, with the warmth and steady support that builds between us week after week.

Our speaker might be a practitioner sharing what she’s learned in her field, or a strategist presenting the framework she’s built, or a new founder, or a total beginner.

Our co-hosts run the event itself — they handle announcements and intros, and they facilitate the Q&A that typically opens into a group-wide discussion. The speaker speaks during her section, and the co-host runs the rest. Many of our most engaged community members first met us here.

It runs every Saturday from 10am to noon Pacific on Zoom, and it’s always free. Social Saturday is made possible by the She Leads AI Society, our membership program for human-centered AI practitioners.

03

Who You’d Be Speaking To

Women from across the world who are already working with AI in some way — beginner to advanced.

The range goes from beginner to advanced — and our expert speakers typically pitch their talks to the intermediate woman in the audience.

Inside that range you’ll find founders of AI companies and service providers, in-house AI leads running rollouts and AI Councils, mid-career professionals moving into AI from another field, decision-makers with 20–30 years of expertise adding AI to their leadership, governance professionals, and visual creatives building with AI tools.

They work across business, law, education, healthcare, HR, tech, and the nonprofit sector. International — we draw from the US, UK, Europe, Asia, and beyond. They come because they want practical knowledge from women who have done the thing, and because they want each other.

04

Three Formats

Pick the format that fits your content and your comfort. We’ll confirm the choice with you before scheduling.

Format 01

Single Featured Speaker

One speaker, the full block

You hold the speaker slot on your own. Longer time on stage, more space for a workshop format, a framework that needs unpacking, or a live demo.

Best for
Substantive talks where 20 minutes wouldn’t do the content justice.
Format 02

Two-Speaker Pairing

Two speakers, 20 minutes each

You and one other woman share the speaker block. Each of you presents for 20 minutes, with conversation between and after.

Best for
Sharper, more focused topics — and when complementary perspectives lift both talks.
Format 03

Podcast-Style Interview

No slides, just conversation

Anne or a co-host interviews you. ~20–30 minutes. You answer questions about your work; we open the floor to the audience after.

Best for
When presenting isn’t your favorite mode, or your content lives better in conversation than in slides.
05

The Run of Show We’d Propose

The typical run of show for a two-speaker Social Saturday — the exact schedule we’d be proposing as your day. Times shown are Pacific.

9:40 amTech check with our team. You join 15 minutes early to test audio and screen share.
10:00Doors open. Attendees arrive, say hello in chat.
10:09Announcements from the co-hosts.
10:24First-time attendee introductions, if any.
10:44Speaker 1 takes the stage — 20 minutes
11:04Conversation block — co-hosts facilitate Q&A with the audience.
11:24Speaker 2 takes the stage — 20 minutes
11:44Conversation block + close. Co-hosts thank speakers, drop links, tease next week.
12:00 pmWe’re done.

Single Featured and Podcast Interview formats adjust the speaker blocks; the rest of the shape stays the same.
