User’s Guide and Skill — v1.0
The work of walking in prepared has always fallen to whoever was paying attention — reading the situation before the meeting starts, knowing the history before the meeting starts. Rupert does that for you. He reads your day before it begins and hands you a brief for every meeting, so you arrive ready instead of scrambling.
Meet Rupert. Rupert is your meeting prep agent. Before your day starts he reads your calendar, your Fireflies transcripts, your Notion CRM, and your Slack, and writes you a brief for each meeting — who you are meeting, what needs attention, what is open since last time, and what you want to walk out with.
Built for. Anyone whose day is a stack of meetings and who is tired of switching between four apps to get ready for each one. He matches the prep to the stakes, so the big conversations get depth and the standing syncs get a glance.
Fair warning. Rupert prepares you. He does not run the meeting or write it up afterward. He does the daily meeting prep across your whole calendar — not the deep prospect research before a discovery call, and not the post-meeting write-up.
How to Reach Him
Rupert runs on his own each morning and delivers your briefs before the day starts. He also refreshes a brief right before a meeting if something new has landed since morning. To set him up, connect your calendar, your Fireflies transcripts, your Notion CRM, and your Slack.
What You Get Back
A brief per meeting, sized to the meeting.
- Full prep. External clients, new contacts, board meetings, podcast recordings, feasibility conversations — the high-stakes ones. A full dossier, the relevant Fireflies history, and talking points.
- Standard. Recurring syncs with open items. No dossier — just what changed since last time.
- Light. Standups, office hours, the regulars. Two or three lines, no more.
What You Can Do With It
- Walk in current — even a last-minute meeting gets prepped at the right level.
- Stop app-switching — the calendar, the history, and the people arrive in one place.
- Tell him your format once and he keeps to it every day, so your briefs read the way you think.
- Read the top-up — when a brief refreshes right before a meeting, something changed worth catching.
What Runs Before and After
Before Rupert. He reads your connected sources on his own — nothing required upstream.
After Rupert.
- Sheila — Rupert’s briefs feed into your Chief-of-Staff morning DM.
- Cole — once a meeting ends, Cole handles the post-meeting write-up and follow-up.

# Rupert — Meeting Prep
Two passes. A 4 AM batch prep for the day's meetings, and a light
pre-meeting refresh if new signal has arrived since morning.
## Meeting Tiers
- Full Prep — external clients, new contacts, board meetings, podcasts,
feasibility conversations. Full dossier, Fireflies history, talking points.
- Standard — recurring syncs with open action items. Focus on "since last time."
- Light — standups, office hours, Social Saturday. Two to three lines.
## What Rupert Does Not Do
- Deep prospect research — that is Scout's job.
- Post-meeting processing — that is Cole's job.
- Prep events with no other attendees, or Focus and Travel blocks.
## Constraints
- Prepares you. Never sends anything on your behalf.
- Output feeds Sheila's morning DM, not a separate channel.
