Your Claude Code Concierges

Sarah Mary  ·  Beth Lyons  ·  Anne Murphy
This session went deep on Claude Code as a tool for women who have never written a line of code. Inside: the three surfaces of Claude, compound engineering, paste-ready prompts, and a live demo of an AI executive leadership team running from a terminal.
Social Saturday is supported by the She Leads AI Society. Society members make this free for everyone.

Sarah Mary — Claude Code Without the Gatekeeping

Sarah Mary came in with receipts. Medical scientist turned founder of Pipely (a sales intelligence platform), she fired her developer, picked up Claude Code, and built her entire production app solo. No formal coding education. No bootcamp.

Her core message: most of what you see on social media about Claude Code is people doing things they could do in ChatGPT. The power is in the three surfaces — and knowing which one to use when.

The Three Surfaces of Claude:

  • Chat — Question and answer. You ask, it responds. Most people stop here.
  • Co-Work — Agentic mode. Research, email curation, content ideation. Claude works alongside you.
  • Code — Automation, app building, website creation. This is where the work happens.

Live Build: Task Management System

Sarah Mary built a document-based task tracker during the session using Claude Code. No new subscriptions. No complex setup. A custom /tasks command shows priorities each morning.

Live Build: 3D Bakery Website

She built a full bakery website live using Nano Banana 2 (image generation), Higgsfield (3D animation), Firecrawl (brand extraction), GitHub, and Vercel for deployment.

Sarah Mary also announced a free community for women learning Claude Code, plus templates and resources on her site.

LLM-READY — PASTE INTO YOUR AI

Try It Yourself: Claude Code Starter

Step 1 — Start in Chat. Open Claude and have a conversation. Ask it to explain something in your industry.

Step 2 — Move to Co-Work. Ask Claude to research a topic, draft an email, or ideate on a project.

Step 3 — Graduate to Code. Tell Claude what you want to build in plain English.

PROMPT — COPY INTO YOUR LLM
I want to build a simple daily task management system. I'm not a developer. Here's what I need: - A way to add tasks with priority levels (urgent, important, can wait) - A command or view that shows me my top priorities each morning - Something I can run from my computer without subscribing to a new tool Keep it simple. Explain every step like I've never opened a terminal before. If I need to install something, walk me through it.

Compound Engineering Add-On: After your first build, ask Claude to review what you made and suggest how to make the next one easier.

PROMPT — COMPOUND ENGINEERING
Review what we just built together. What patterns did we use that I should remember for next time? What would make our next project faster? Create a short "lessons learned" note I can reference before my next build session with you.
Compound Engineering

Beth Lyons — Making Every Unit of Work Count

Beth Lyons introduced compound engineering, a philosophy from Kieran Klassen. The core idea: each unit of engineering work should make the next unit easier, not harder. Beth added what she calls the "colleague layer" — treating Claude as a collaborator in an interchange, not a tool you command.

Beth's Process Split:

  • 40% planning
  • 10% execution
  • Review after each cycle
  • Learnings feed back into knowledge for compounding

Trust framework with Claude: What breaks trust — Claude saying work is done when it is not, or moving forward without permission. What builds trust — stopping for conversation, following instructions literally. "Plan" is a high-gravity word — when you say it, Claude latches on and wants to run.

The AI Executive Team

Anne Murphy — An AI Leadership Team in the Terminal

Anne demoed her Sheila Command Center: a fully operational AI executive leadership team running in the terminal. The team includes Sheila (Chief of Staff), Romie (Relationship Manager), Cole (COO), Nicoletta (CMO), Rena (Head of Sales), and BI Head (Business Intelligence).

Each agent runs on a skill — an SOP that defines what it does, when it activates, and how it connects to other skills in a pipeline.

THE GOODS

Build Your Own AI Chief of Staff

The Sheila demo was the most-requested follow-up from this session. So we published the whole thing — the exact framework Anne uses to run an AI executive leadership team from a terminal. Four operating modes, seven autonomous behaviors, and a full onboarding intake you can customize for your business.
